What guests say
Three things come up again and again in the reviews: the hosts, the furnishings, the location.
“Our second stay, and once again everything was right: the apartment, the fittings, the hosts.”
“Well informed before we even arrived. Then an apartment equipped beyond what we expected, all of it cared for and clean.”
“The kitchen, the old building and the bathroom above all. And the hosts.”
“A lovingly restored old house. The small details show that the hosts think about their guests.”
“The Wine Route and the Palatinate Forest are right outside the door.”
“Tastefully furnished, warm and uncomplicated hosts, and the right base for the Palatinate.”
9.8 out of 10 from 141 reviews on Booking.com, hosts 9.9. As of September 2026, paraphrased.
Hambach
Hambach is a picturesque district of Neustadt an der Weinstraße, set between vineyards and the Palatinate Forest. Above the village stands Hambach Castle, known as an important place in the history of German democracy.
Historic lanes, winemakers' yards, places to eat and the vineyards close by give Hambach its particular charm. Its location makes it an ideal base for exploring the Palatinate, the German Wine Route and the Palatinate Forest.
